Mrs. Stephanie Cleveland

Coach Cleveland has completed her sixth season as the head coach of the Belmont Volleyball program in a year highlighted by growth from a strong Cardinal team, which included 12 Freshmen and Sophomores. 

The Lady Cardinals program has been a product of hard work and determination. The Lady Cardinals made their first State appearance in 2019, finishing in the Final Four. The next year, the Lady Cardinals were the 3A State Runner-Up. The steady growth continued this season as the Lady Cardinals won the 2A State Championship. The program recorded a massive season winning 30 games 3-0, and not dropping a set in any 2A competition. 

Coach Cleveland's program and success has grown immensely over the past six years. She was named the North/South All - Star Coach for 2020. She has many decorated players receiving All-State Awards, MAC All-State Awards, MaxPreps Players of the Week, All-Area Players, and Daily Journal's Players to watch. 

Stephanie is an alumni of Belmont High School where she played basketball for Coach Heather Deaton and Coach Ronnie Riley. She continued her athletic career at Wallace State Community College under the late Larry Slater.  After an ankle injury, Stephanie finished her educational career at the University of Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration on Social Sciences and Physical Education. Coach Cleveland holds a Master's Degree from Delta State in Elementary Education Curriculum and Instruction. She is currently a Kindergarten teacher at Belmont Elementary and a Technology Coach for Tishomingo County. 

She is married to Gentry Cleveland; they have two children, Keiley (13) and Kolter (6).

Mrs. Anna Brooke Wooten

Coach Anna Brooke is a 2010 graduate of Belmont High School. During her time at Belmont, she was a member of the Belmont softball and basketball teams, and she helped lead her team to win the 2010 3A State Championship in basketball. She continued her education and basketball career at Northeast Community College and Blue Mountain College, where she earned her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (2014) and Master’s in Reading/Literacy (2015). Coach Anna Brooke earned her Education Specialist in Leadership/Administration from Delta State University in 2018. She served as assistant basketball coach for 7 years from 2014-2021, contributing to the 2015 & 2021 3A State Championship teams. Coach Anna Brooke has helped with volleyball for 1 year, in which the girls won the 2021 2A State Championship. She is married to Zach Wooten.
